Design the mobile platform and payload system that turn autonomy into useful field work. Own structure, suspension or compliance, drivetrain packaging, cargo handling, environmental protection, service access, and the mechanical path from prototype to a repeatable fleet.

A field-testable chassis with defined payload, stability, traction, and ground-pressure limits.

A tray or supply interface that crews can load quickly without damaging product.
- 03
Validated cleaning, transport, ingress, thermal, and service procedures.
- 04
A controlled CAD, drawing, and BOM release suitable for repeatable builds.
What you will own
- Own chassis, running gear, enclosures, payload interfaces, and mechanical safety features.
- Model loads, stability, traction, fatigue, thermal behavior, and relevant tolerances.
- Prototype rapidly and design fixtures and tests that reveal field failure modes.
- Select materials, processes, fasteners, seals, bearings, and purchased components.
- Design for assembly, inspection, cleaning, field repair, and transport between farms.
- Work with manufacturing and technicians to control revisions and close build issues.
What we are looking for
- Has owned mechanisms or mobile hardware from concept through field or production use.
- Can calculate loads and margins, then validate them with practical tests.
- Designs for assembly, cleaning, inspection, transport, and repair from the beginning.
- Works quickly in CAD and at the bench without treating fabrication as somebody else’s job.
- Balances mass, payload, soil pressure, stability, cost, and part availability.
The field reality
The environment is part of the design.
The platform must cross uneven beds and headlands, carry agricultural loads without damaging fruit, fit farm transport, shed dirt and water, and be repaired with practical tools during a harvest day.
- Off-road vehicles, mobile robots, industrial equipment, or agricultural machinery.
- Suspension, drivetrains, structures, environmental sealing, or thermal design.
- Low-volume manufacturing, vendor management, machining, welding, or composites.
- Design for service, washdown, corrosion, transport, and operator ergonomics.
